In addition, a Setters Camp will take place July 10-12 and will help players improve their fundamental skills and provide them with technical drills that they can take with them after the camp is over. The final session is the Competitive Team Camp July 17-20. From July 13-16, those in grades 10-12 will have the ability to improve their level of play through fast-paced training and game-like drills. Players in grades six through nine are welcome to join the July 10-12 camp that is designed to introduce everyone to the game, including learning passing, setting, hitting and serving, and preparing athletes for a team environment and different levels. The first camp is the Training Team Camp, which runs July 6-9. Campers will have the option of being a resident or a commuter for each camp. The MSU coaching staff, current and former Spartan players and other college and top volleyball coaches will be on hand to provide detailed instruction. Michigan State volleyball has announced that it will hold five separate summer camps for young athletes to take part in this year.
